It means Land by the shore.  For the past 28 years 'Karavalli' has been catering to bangaloreans with its wide array of coastal Malabar cuisine. I was lucky enough to be invited on Sunday to try their 'Malabar Mappila' breakfast. I was simply stunned at its rich, varied taste and another suprise, it tastes home-made. Now that is a difficult objective to obtain. Not only that, it is perfect for health conscious folks as well. Let me begin with the first dish I was served called 'Puttu and kadle curry' Rice and coconut Chick peas curry The curry was very tangy and made of chick peas. COCO Grove BAR AND KITCHEN

The special feature of this place is that it opens up straight into church street giving you a feeling of an open street cafe. Not very common in Bangalore. It is perfect for a place to rest after shopping or to grab a quick bite or to hang out with friends in the evening. What I ordered?  Chicken nuggets.  Mango juice.  Potato wedges.  Chocolate truffle pastry.  Alcohol whole variety of beer Black Dress: Chemistry CASUAL EVENING at Coco Grove: Coco Grove is a great place for evenings out with friends.
